10 Rom-Coms to Watch this Valentine’s Day

Everyone loves romantic comedies. Some of the most iconic movies and iconic scenes are from romantic comedies. There aren’t many movies like this that are being produced these years which is a bit saddening. In my opinion I think the highlight of the best rom com movies are the 90s and the early 2000s. A perfect plan for Valentine’s is just staying at home and binge watching all the movies that are listed below ❤ along with chocolate ice cream, pyjamas and chocolate ice cream.

classic rom coms

My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997)
not everything is going to work out the way you hope

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
love is unexpected

Clueless (1995)
sometimes everything you’re looking for is in front of you

for the more drama/romantic kind

About Time (2013)
sometimes it takes a few tries to get things right

Waitress (2007)
usually, endings aren’t how you want them to be

Serendipity (2001)
everything is serendipitous

for the comedic kind

Cinderella (2004)
dreams do come true

Amélie (2001)
love is weird

(500) Days of Summer (2009)
you will have to deal with heartbreak in order for you to be lead to happiness

and of course…

Valentine’s Day (2010)

How can I not put this movie on this list? It is the ultimate Valentine’s Day movie. It has a variety of stories, and all the characters are linked together. It shows us a lot of different possibilities that can come up in life and on Valentine’s Day. It reminds us that not everything works out the way you want them to, sometimes it’s okay in the end and sometime’s it isn’t if you plan something to be perfect, chances are it won’t be, etc. It’s a fun and relaxing movie to watch during a rough day.

I’ve watched My Best Friend’s Wedding, (500) Days of Summer, About Time and Valentine’s Day and they all are great. I’ll try to watch the others too.
But I didn’t really liked the ending of My Best Friend’s Wedding though.
