The Secret Life of a Book Blogger Tag

I was tagged by Always Opinionated Girl to do the Secret Life of a Book Blogger tag.

How long have you been a blogger?

Since June 2015. So about…8 months.

At what point do you think you will stop?

I’d like to think I will never stop but then again you never know. As long as I still have interesting thoughts and am still reading, I probably won’t stop blogging.

What is the best thing?

Getting to read and see other people’s blogs and posts. How they set out their blog, what they blog about, their thoughts, etc.

What is the worst thing? What do you do to male to okay?

Not being able to fully customise my blog. I can’t be fully myself because always imagine my blog looking a certain way and am fairly limited.

How long does it take you to create/find pictures to use?

Not that long, I don’t use many pictures on my blog. I probably should start doing so 🙂

Who’s your book crush?

Just one. Hmmmm…. Levi from Fangirl.

What author would you like to have on your blog?

Rainbow Rowell!! No doubt about it. Most of my favourite contemporary reads are written by her. She is one of my auto-buy authors.

What do you wear when you write your blog?

I usually blog at night or whenever I have free time during the day so PJs 🙂

How long does it take you to prepare?

It takes me about an hour or so to prepare a post. Formatting and getting images, linking everything and such.

How do you feel about the book blogger community/culture?

I think it’s an awesome community. It allows you to be able to be more engaged in the book community in general. It’s one of the ways that I find new books to read, and also everyone can be themselves in the blogging community.

What do you think one should do to get a successful blog?

Post what you want, be yourself, engage with your fellow bloggers and have fun!
